Computerwocky

'Twas buggy, and the Pentium toves
Did edit and print these words:
All floppy were the algorithms,
And the command line power-surged.

"Beware the Computer, my clone!
The mice that byte, the keys that catch!
Beware the blinking cursor, and shift
the floating-point variable!"

He took his virtual sword in hand:
Long time the digital foe he sought-
So parked he by the binary tree,
And spun awhile in thought.

And, as in idle thought he spun
The Computer, with eyes of phosphor,
Came windowing through the GUI wood,
And bubble-sorted as it came!

Zero, one! Zero, one! And through and through
The virtual blade went hacker-click!
He left it dead, and with its read/write head
He went recursing back.

"And has thou crashed the Computer?
Come to my arms, my analog boy!
O fractal day! Boop-Beep! Boop-Beeeep!"
He rebooted in his joy.

'Twas buggy, and the Pentium toves
Did edit and print these words:
All floppy were the algorithms,
And the command line power-surged.
