Children's Programs

The goal of the Children’s Ministries at St. Paul's is to exemplify the Christian faith in such a way that children may seek to live lives of faith in Jesus Christ, both as children and as they grow into adults. We seek to do this by providing opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, discipleship and mission action.

On Going Programs:

Discovery Groups

Age level classes from crib to eighth grade meet at 10:45 a.m. on Sundays. Dedicated teachers and Bible-based curriculum help preschoolers, children and youth build a solid foundation in the Christian faith.

Children's Choir

This is an opportunity for elementary children to participate in the music ministry of St. Paul's.

Children’s Sermon

Every Sunday children participate in a gathering time for a worship message at their level.

Acolytes

Children and youth in grades 3 through 8 have the opportunity to serve as acolytes, lighting the candles in our Sunday morning worship service.

Child Care

Child care is an important part of the ministry of St. Paul's. We employ a staff of paid caregivers in order to provide a safe, caring environment for our youngest congregation members. Sunday morning childcare is offered in our infant, toddler and preschool rooms beginning at 9:30 am and is continuous through 15 minutes after the conclusion of worship giving parents an opportunity to fully take part in education, worship and fellowship times.

Child care is also provided during some adult activities (such as during Thursday evening chancel and bell choir rehearsals) in order to allow parents the opportunity of participating in these ministries.
